to BIEEGL at the SFVAMC
The lab is located in the Mental Health Department, Building 8, on the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Our lab is the BIEEGL lab in the basement, Room 9B. From the front of the building, the enterance is to the left of the staircase.

Bus Routes:
Either the 38 (V.A. Hospital or 48th Avenue) or 38L will take you to the Outer Richmond District where the hospital is located. The 38's (V.A. Medical Hospital)last stop drops you off at the main building. The 38 (48th Avenue) will also stop at the VA campus on its route. Do not take the 38 Ocean Beach line, because it will not take you to the VA. For the 38L there is a stop on the corner of 42nd Avenue and Point Lobos located near the VA. A walk up teh hill to Clement Street leads to the driveway to the VA hospital.

Driving/Parking information:
Coming up the State Highway 1/19th Avenue and are taking Crossover Drive through the Golden Gate Park, stay to the left and cross Lincoln Way and enter the park. There are sign for 25th Avenue to stay to the left. Staying to the left and following the road will merge with Crossover Drive, which will come out at Fulton and 25th Avenue. Make a left at Fulton and then a right at 42nd Avenue. Follow 42nd to the end, which is Clement Street.

Parking at the VA is available, but can be congested. There is a parking lot next to Building 8. There are also parking spaces in lot B in front of the main building. There is street parking available in the streets surrounding the VA, but there are notices of street cleaning on various days. Check the sign to avoid a ticket.
